Da‘wah of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith
In the light of the creed of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith and its interpretation, it can be stated that the call of Ahl-e-Hadith is the call to the Oneness of the Lord of the Worlds (Tawheed). This is because it is the same message of Tawheed for which all the Prophets were sent and all the Divine Scriptures were revealed. The call of Ahl-e-Hadith is a call to the following of the Sunnah, as they strive, to the best of their ability, to adhere to the pure Sunnah in all matters of life, especially in acts of worship.
The call of Ahl-e-Hadith is a Salafi call, as it invites towards the pure, simple, and authentic teachings of Islam that were presented to the Ummah by the righteous predecessors (Salaf-us-Salihin), teachings that were free from all kinds of innovations and customary practices. The call of Ahl-e-Hadith is also a call to true spirituality (Tasawwuf), because according to them, purification of the soul, purity of the heart, and love for Allah, the Exalted, form the foundation of all beliefs and righteous deeds.
Furthermore, the call of Ahl-e-Hadith is a political call, as it demands from the government the reformation of Islamic society, the implementation and strengthening of religious education, and the establishment of an Islamic system of governance. It also strives and struggles to strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood with Muslims in other Islamic countries and beyond.
The collective mission of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan is the implementation of Islam in our beloved homeland. This was the very mission with which the noble Companions (رضي الله عنهم) emerged from Madinah and spread across Asia, Africa, and Europe, dismantling oppressive and un-Islamic systems and establishing the blessed laws of Islam while conveying its message. As a result, entire nations, witnessing the justice and blessings of the Islamic system, entered the fold of Islam and continue to remain Muslim to this day.
The creation of Pakistan itself was achieved so that an Islamic system could be established in this land. Therefore, this mission is not only our responsibility but also our moral obligation. Those who struggled for the creation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan made immense sacrifices: countless women, elderly people, children, and youth suffered violence and martyrdom; the honor of chaste mothers, sisters, and daughters was violated; and millions of Muslims migrated to Pakistan, leaving behind their ancestral homes, lands, properties, and livelihoods in India. These sacrifices place a lasting responsibility upon us to adopt this mission wholeheartedly and to declare that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for its fulfillment.
